DOHA: QatarWheels announced today that its Fleet Management System and the tracking devices it installs have been approved by the Ministry of Transport and Communications for use by commercial fleet operators in the State of Qatar.
The approval covers the platform, the vehicle units, the immobiliser relay and the operations desk. Operators subject to fleet-monitoring requirements may now meet them with FMS without a separate certified unit.
The approval is a floor, not a ceiling. It says the system does what it claims. Our customers already knew that; now the regulator has said so too.

FMS currently connects more than fifteen thousand vehicles across Qatar and the Gulf. The platform is available in Arabic and English, with a Doha-based operations desk staffed around the clock.
