DOHA: QatarWheels today released the fully bilingual version of its FMS console and mobile application. Every screen, alert, report and export is now available in Arabic and English, with each user choosing their own language and the choice following them between devices.
The Arabic edition is not a translation layer. Numbers are rendered in Arabic-Indic digits, dates in the Arabic month names, and the layout mirrors right to left, including the map controls and the tables. Alerts sent by email and push arrive in the recipient’s language.
A dispatcher at six in the morning should not be reading a second language. Now they do not have to.
